How is a Breast Lift Performed?
A breast lift is performed under sedation or general anesthesia by making incisions either around the areola or outward from the areola toward the sides or lower crease of the breasts. A small amount of tissue is removed, and the incisions are sealed, allowing the breasts to be tighter and more uplifted. This procedure can also be combined with implants to amplify fullness. Following your breast lift surgery, you will likely experience some swelling or bruising, but these effects should subside after a few days. You should be able to return to work within a couple of weeks.
