Rejuvenate Aging Facial Skin With FaceTite Treatment

By: Dr. Husam Elias

Collagen and elastin are naturally occurring proteins in the skin that give the tissue its vibrant volume and tone. With each passing year, collagen and elastin production decreases and causes the skin to thin, crease, and wrinkle. At The Pacific Coast Center for Oral, Facial & Cosmetic Surgery, we offer innovative FaceTite treatments to combat signs of aging without the hassle of invasive facelift surgery. Dr. Husam Elias works with patients throughout Pasadena, CA by assisting them in creating customized cosmetic plans to meet their facial skin goals.

What is FaceTite treatment?

FaceTite treatment is a minimally invasive procedure using radiofrequency-powered technology to gently tighten the skin of the face and neck. Dr. Elias utilizes a cannula device that is inserted into the skin and carefully heats the tissues to generate lipolysis and stimulate collagen production. At The Pacific Coast Center for Oral, Facial & Cosmetic Surgery, each patient is provided a customized treatment plan after an in-person consultation.

How does lipolysis work?

Lipolysis occurs when the body breaks apart fat cells. During FaceTite treatments, radiofrequency-guided technology stimulates lipolysis to reduce the volume of fatty tissues in the face and neck. The result is tighter, smoother skin and overall reduced signs of aging.

Benefits of FaceTite treatment

FaceTite treatments provide numerous benefits for men and women, including:

  • Tightening loose skin around the chin, neck, and jowls
  • Reducing fine lines, creases, and wrinkles
  • Rejuvenating the skin with accelerated collagen production
  • Fast and easy treatments
  • Tailored treatment plans

Am I an ideal candidate for FaceTite treatment?

You may be an excellent candidate for FaceTite treatment if you:

  • Have realistic cosmetic expectations
  • Have fine lines and wrinkles on the face and neck
  • Have loose skin along the jawline and jowls
  • Are looking for alternative, less-invasive treatment methods
  • Are in good general health

Dr. Elias will review your personal and medical history to determine if you can safely undergo FaceTite treatments.

How the treatment process works

FaceTite treatments are performed within the comforts of one of our private treatment rooms. Dr. Elias will administer a local anesthetic to each treatment site prior to inserting a cannula device under the skin. Once the cannula is placed, the skin is heated with a controlled, RF-guided thermometer to stimulate lipolysis and collagen production. Each treatment site takes approximately 45 minutes to process. Once your treatment is finished, you’ll be asked to wear a compression garment for the next couple of days to optimize healing and recovery at home.

Recovery after FaceTite treatment

Most patients should expect some swelling and tenderness at each treatment site for the next few days, which will resolve on its own. Patients should avoid strenuous activities for the next 1 – 2 weeks to allow the skin to heal properly. If there are any concerns or questions about recovery protocol, patients are welcome to contact our clinic at any time.

How long will it take to notice results?

Once the initial swelling has subsided, patients may start to notice results as soon as the first week or two. However, most patients won’t notice optimal results until approximately 3 – 8 weeks after their treatment session. Results may be longer lasting for patients who maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle.
