Meet Dr. Verratti
Dr. Francesca Verratti, DDS is a full time associate of The Pacific Coast Center for Oral, Facial and Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Verratti is originally from Caracas, Venezuela. She received her D.D.S degree at the Central University of Venezuela. She completed her training in Bogota, Colombia at the Central Military Hospital which is well known for pioneering techniques in osteogenesis, severe maxillofacial trauma and orthognathic surgery.
Dr. Verratti then trained for 3 years at Jackson Memorial Hospital located in Miami, FL working closely with many renowned oral and maxillofacial surgeons, focusing on major facial reconstruction techniques.
Dr. Verratti obtained her second D.D.S degree at New York University, College of Dentistry. She received multiple accolades in NYU, and graduated with Honors Cum Laude. She then completed her oral and maxillofacial surgery residency training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center where she helped care for a wide range of complex patients.
Dr. Verratti continuously strives for excellence, and received multiple awards in recognition of her work. During her time in NYU, she was heavily involved in the student body, and was the president of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Society as well as vice-president of the student research club. Also in NYU, Dr. Verratti did an oral and maxillofacial pathology elective year which she completed with honors. She was awarded by the American Equilibration Society for comprehensive care in occlusion and temporomandibular joint disorder.
Dr. Verratti enjoys giving back to the specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery and the community. She had the opportunity to travel to Nicaragua to provide care for underserved communities in need of oral surgery services. In NYU, she was an instructor in head and neck anatomy, as well as practical dental Spanish instructor for dental students. She also lectured at Bellevue Hospital to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program. During her time in Harbor UCLA, she supervised and worked closely with dental students, and she was an invited speaker at the annual Southern California Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology where she was awarded with a certificate of fellowship.
Dr. Verratti is currently a full time associate at the practice and is looking forward to providing exceptional care for the Southern California community. Dr. Verratti likes to connect with nature and enjoys an active lifestyle full of camping trips, hiking and adventures with her husband Victor and their dog Choco.
